Purpose:

Forestry-1
responds to brush fire calls with 250 gallons of water and all the tools necessary to combat fire in wooded areas. It is a 4 wheel drive surplus military vehicle obtained by the Auburn Volunteer Fireman's Association and subsequently fitted for forestry fire fighting by members of the Association.

250 gallon-per-minute pump
Fire Hose: 2.5" hand line, 1.5" hand line, 1" forestry line
Hand tools: axes, shovels, counselor rakes
Several 5-gallon "Indian tank" backpack fire extinguishers
Chainsaw
Forestry helmets
Portable flota-pump to supply water from ponds & streams
Seating for three firefighters
