Auburn Village
Safety Complex


Purpose:


The Safety Complex
is located on 11 acres at the northerly end of Auburn and is part of "Auburn Village". The Village School, Post Office, Cemetery, Town Hall, Library and Historical Society Museum are all nearby. This is headquarters for the Auburn Fire Department and Auburn Police plus offers a public meeting room available to various organizations in town.

The first floor features a bay area for six apparatus, SCBA room, tool room, radio dispatch, kitchen, meeting room and two offices. The second floor was built to accommodate future growth of the Fire Department. It currently has a classroom and exercise area in use, with two bunk rooms and bathroom ready for the future when the ever increasing population and call volume will require the station be manned 24 hours.
