Purpose:


Station-1
is located on 2 acres at the south end of Auburn. It was built in 1986 to accommodate Auburn's growth and provide quicker fire and medical response to the south end of town. It is strategically placed at the intersection of Spofford and Wilson's Crossing roads.

It features a bay area for six apparatus, tool room, secondary radio dispatch, kitchen, meeting room and three offices.

Built: 1986
Price: $250,000, including refurbishment of Central Station to accommodate the Auburn Police.
Funded by: Auburn taxpayers, land donated by Francis McKay.
Projected service life: 50+ years.
